What’s Oriboo?
“Very little is known about the Oriboo Planet. However, what is known, is that the air is vibrating of strange melodies and that the planet’s only inhabitants – the Oriboos – have always lived there in harmony, with no other occupations than to dance, sing and occasionally sleep.
But one day it suddenly became… quiet.
According to an ancient myth, it was because the people on Planet Earth had stopped dancing. Therefore, a small group of Oriboos was assigned the mission to go to Planet Earth and rescue the humans so that the melodies would start playing again.”
How does it work?
Together with Oriboo you can play, hang out and have fun – alone or with friends. Oriboo has motion detectors that sense your movements. It instructs you in how to move and gives you feedback on how you succeed, using its eyes, movements, sounds and display. You play using your body, moving in different ways, qualities and styles. Oriboo knows a lot of different games that make you move and challenge your reactions, balance and coordination. New games and challenges can be downloaded from the Oriboo website.
